The education sector has now emerged out as the most important segment of human resources and the nation’s possible GDP contributor too.
Education is synonymous with the Human Resources (HR). Without enlightening the present generation with right education and knowledge, a country cannot prosper.
Most countries generously allocate funds to improve the working of the education sector and HR department. According to the global statistics, most countries, today, spend 5% of their nation’s GDP towards improving the educational infrastructure in their states.
The distribution of funds in the education sector is a complex issue. Usually, the government-approved university and institutions get their budget passed by the government itself annually.
They also received several types of grant and aid in times of need. On the contrary, private institutes have to manage their funds totally by themselves. They do not receive anything from the government.

2) Balance of Primary and Higher Education: Interestingly, for a nation’s development, both primary and higher education are equally important. They are complementary in nature.

A nation has to maintain an astute balance between its primary and higher education. It should equally open both primary and higher education centers to bridge that educational gap.
In addition, certain incentives become necessary to compel poor parents to send their children back to schools. Tuition fee waiver, free books, and mid-day meals can be apt in this regard.
3) Improve Educational Infrastructure Nationally: Education should not remain within the clutches of big cities and towns only. Equitable dissemination of education is necessary for the nation’s development as a whole.
According to a recent survey, in most developing countries of Asia and Africa, around 70% of the good institutes are located in big cities while only 30% are there in the remote areas. Such statistics should change.
It should be 50-50 across everywhere. The government has to invest more in education across the country.
4) Frequent Census and Survey: A government has to conduct frequent survey and census study to know whether the allocated funds in the education sector are enough or not.
Such studies also bring much other important data to the fore including Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER), Literacy Rate, Number of Graduates/ PG and so on.

A private varsity opened its new campus. It was seriously in need of funds and money to boost up its basic infrastructure. Being a private university, the government did not provide much assistance to the institute except offering it a license to open varsity.
